The night before we go

We gather at Dewan Utama Desasiswa to take our clothes that we will wear among the camp. They also give us a big bag to easily us to put our necessary thing we want to use daily at the camp.
Before we take our gift, we was given a talk by the person who in charge in this program. They tell us the scehule at the camp. But the most important thing they want to tell us is how we will go there and which bus we will in tomorrow. There will have 4 bus that will go to my camp-kemPalas tomorrow. I am in bus 2…
The day we go
-07/08/09-Friday-
We gather in front of Dewan Utama Pelajar before 9am and wait our bus come to take us. That morning is hot and humid and it was raining when we want to up to the bus. We all run into our bus. The situation is so funny that day.
After travel about 2 hours, we finally reach at our camp. But the situation at our camp is not good as I think. We want to across 2 river before go into our camp. It a bad experience…
After we reach at our camp site, we are giving lunch before we divided into 3 company. They are company A, B, and C. Each company have 4 small company inside it and each small company contain at lease 8 or 9 member. I am in company A4..We have 8 member in company A4, we have 5 Malay and 3 Chinese in our company A4. Our leader of company A4 is BENG.
After we all got a group, our commander give each company A, B, and C 8 tent. We wanted to think ourselves how we want to divided the tent and how we want to built it by ourselves.
Our company A have 33 member, so 4 person will sleep in 1 tent and there will got one tent will sleep by 5 person.
We are giving a long time to built our tent and take a rest until dinner.
After dinner, we have a game call “ice breaking”. The main purpose of this game is want us know each other. I really enjoy this game because I can meet new friend. We also had to do some aerobic at night. It was chicken dance and bocor-bocor. It so funny but I don’t like it because I am not interest in that dance and I don’t know how to dance bocor-bocor.
We back to our own tent at around 12am. I am so tired that night and think that I can take a good sleep to continues tomorrow activities, but what I can’t forecast is they wake us up at 1:30am and want us go into the forest without any accessory. I am afraid that moment. In the forest, I like a blink, so scary, only can move with carry by the rope that have at beside me.
We back to our camp site at about 4am.
The day at camp
-08/08/09-Saturday-
We wake up at 6:30am. I not a good sleep that night because we sleep at stone site and there have many mosquito that bites me that morning. I hated mosquito…
We do aerobic as morning exercise. After finish it and have our breakfast, we meet at the hall to hear a talk that given by our commander.
We are giving 1 hour to rest ,bath, and take our lunch before we go to the jungle again.
At around 1pm, we start gather and go into the jungle together. It a new experience for me because I never join N.S before this.
We reach at our camp site at around 4:30pm. After we reach, we enjoy our high tea and rest a while. At evening, we play some game (I forgot what the game name). It was a fantastic game.
The day we back
-09/08/09-Sunday-
As usually, we wake up at 6:30am and do aerobic as morning exercise and then have our breakfast. After that, we gather at hall again and hear a talk that given by our commander again. After that, we have an interest game, that is cooking. We wanted to cook ourselves by use the material that given. They give us a chicken-we want to kill it by ourselves. It is so cruel for me to kill a chicken. So I don’t eat it after we cook it.
There was many problem we force at this game. Firstly, we cannot find our material because it hide by the fasi and we want find it ourselves. We use about 15 minute to find it out. After we got our material, we force with another problem. That is we don’t know how to make a fire. All or our group member never do it before. We try and try and try until we can get the fire. It so meaning full for me to make a fire by my own hand.
We finally done to cook a plate of cabridge and a plate of source chicken.
We back to our own tent to pick up our thing and unweave the tent to return it before we back to USM.
